The Yasaki Competition Spool range was developed to meet the demands of competitive and technical fishing, where precision, control, and consistency are essential.

Extensive field testing at the highest competitive level identified a 6° conicity as the optimal geometry for balancing long-distance casting with controlled line recovery. This profile enables a smooth and stable line release while significantly reducing the risk of wind knots, even under high casting loads.

Machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and selected premium materials, Yasaki spools achieve exceptional lightness without compromising structural integrity. The refined conical profile, paired with a precisely engineered micro-pitch, ensures accurate line lay and minimizes friction during line release.

The braking system is specifically calibrated for surfcasting and carp fishing, featuring a progressive integrated clicker that provides consistent feedback and reliable control in demanding conditions.
